Rust College A’Cappella Choir to perform at 3rd annual Laity in Action Celebration

The World Renowned Rust College A’Cappella Choir will perform in concert at the 3rd annual Purchase District ‘Laity in Action Celebration’ on Saturday, October 28th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The event will take place at the Kenneth Shadowen Performing Arts Center on the campus of Marshall County High School located at 416 High School Road in Benton, Kentucky. The event is FREE and is open to the public. Donations to benefit Rust College will be accepted. Invite your Family, Friends, Church Family and Neighbors.

The Laity in Action Celebration event is sponsored by the Purchase District of the Memphis Conference of the United Methodist Church and is planned by members of the district’s Laity Team. Members of the team consist of the district lay leader, district resource leader, district director of Lay Servant Ministries, district president of United Methodist Women, district president of United Methodist Men, and local church representatives from various United Methodist churches throughout the Purchase District.

Rust College is located in Holly Springs, MS. The college’s world famous A’Cappella Choir is one of America’s most renowned choirs. The choir performed at the 2016 Memphis Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church and has captured the attention of prestigious audiences worldwide.
