On Wednesday, August 31, at Christ United Methodist Church (UMC) in Mayfield, four Graves County churches partnered with medical provider Kentucky Care to deliver supplies to those in need. About 30 members from Mayfield First UMC, Christ UMC, Trinity UMC, and Burnett’s Chapel UMC came together to fill 300 laundry baskets with food and cleaning supplies for low-income residents who are still displaced due to the December 10, 2021 tornado. All the baskets were put together and distributed in the Mayfield, Ky. area.
Thanks to Kentucky Care and to our four Graves County connectional churches for making a difference in the lives of our sisters and brothers! Plans are to do this again in the near future!
