Submitted by Rev. Jamie Lee, pastor of Grace United Methodist Church, Ballard County, KY

The River Counties Cluster of United Methodist Churches met Sunday, January 3, 2016 for a joint Epiphany service in the with the people of Heartfelt Connection, an outreach ministry of Clinton First United Methodist Church located at the old feed store in Clinton, Ky. There were 85 in attendance and the Riverheart band led us in worship.

Members of the cluster churches provided the meal for the group. Several of the youth helped with a teaching moment about the 12 Days of Christmas and we closed the evening around the bonfire with an Epiphany candlelight service, celebrating the night when God broke into the darkness. Rev. Stan Waldon, pastor of Clinton First UMC, commissioned the group to go out and be the light of Christ to a hurting world.

(The River Counties Cluster is consists of United Methodist Churches in Ballard, Carlisle, Fulton, and Hickman Counties in western Kentucky.)
