Massac-Lebanon receives Turner Grant and offers invitation to join Wellness Circles

Massac-Lebanon of The United Methodist Church (UMC) Wellness Council is delighted to announce that we have been blessed to have received a grant from the Turner Center at Martin Methodist College to assist in providing opportunities for rural seniors and others that are remote from our churches to remain in community with our congregations as their circumstances make aging in place their reality. We will be working to share our experiences, good and bad, with other rural congregations to advocate for wholeness and wellness, individually and collectively.

We would love to have you begin this journey with us! We are looking for folks to join Wellness Circles online via Zoom and, as possible, in person, to give you a glimpse of the ministry we can all do together even in these trying times! We offer training if you aren’t comfortable with this platform. We are already working with Living Compass and Seamen’s Church Institute to promote resilience from stress in these trying days!
