April 15 is the deadline to apply for a $2,000 Anita Padgett Memorial Music Scholarship offered by Lone Oak United Methodist Church in Paducah, Ky.
Qualifications are:
- Member of any Methodist Church
- Sophomore or above, including graduate school
- Enrolled full time at a four-year college with a GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Demonstrated financial need
- Preference given to major or minor in music, music education or music-related field; or music ministry
